Designating April 2023 as National Native Plant Month

The Illinois Native Plant Society supports THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES, RESOLUTION 570 designating April 2023 as ‘‘National Native Plant Month.’’

“The native plants of Illinois and our high-quality natural areas are precious and under threat. We have to hope National Native Plant Month will encourage people to protect native plants, support good management of natural areas and use many native plants in both private and public landscapes.
