McKinley Woods Forest Preserve walk

Come see one of the prettiest woods in Will County. McKinley Woods is where the Kankakee Torrent chewed its way through the Minooka Moraine to create high bluffs overlooking the I&M Canal and Des Plaines River. Lots of wildflowers with hopes of seeing the uncommon Green Violet and American Gromwell. Green is beautiful, too, or at least these flowers think so. Retiring to Lollo’s Bar & Grill afterwards for drinks, food and conversation.
