2024 Annual Gathering Registration
The Schulenberg Prairie at Morton Arboretum is the centerpiece of the Illinois Native Plant Society’s Statewide Annual Gathering July 12-14. The event will be held at Benedictine University in Lisle starting Friday night with presentations from this year’s INPS research grant recipients (Delicatessen Delights, Open Wine & Beer Bar). Field trip logistics will be explained in detail in preparation for expert-guided field trips, two on Saturday, one Sunday. Box lunches and beverages are served between field trips on Saturday. Special programs are also being planned by the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum on the Benedictine University campus during this 3 day event. The Dinner Meeting Saturday evening (Italian Specialties Buffet, Open Wine&Beer Bar) will feature Pat Armstrong and Kurt Dreisilker, each presenting on the Schulenberg Prairie, covering its past, present and future: the plants, the people and their insider viewpoints. Sunday all INPS Gathering attendees will enjoy complimentary Morton Arboretum admission from the Morton Arboretum as this year’s sponsor.
